Job summary

Ashley Stewart, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager for our Orlando, FL store. You will supervise Sales Associates during shifts, help drive traffic and sales, and ensure excellent customer service and store presentation.

Responsibilities include supporting merchandising, event scheduling, inventory control, and staff coordination. A high school diploma and retail experience are preferred, with strong communication and leadership skills essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with Store Manager and staff.
• Ability to apply retail math and analyze sales data for decisions.
• Proficient with point-of-sale systems and basic computer tools.
• Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and strong prioritization to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to achieve and exceed financial plan.
• Assist Store Manager in evaluating the business and taking proactive steps to improve results.
• Assist in setting and monitoring store goals (daily, weekly).
• Assist in managing store expenses and inventory.
• Ensure funds and merchandise are handled per company policy and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling at least one grass-root event per quarter.
• Effectively manage merchandise and marketing externally to grow the business.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience and educate customers on products.
• Serve as manager on duty in the absence of Store Manager and FT Assistant Manager.
• Maintain store operations standards and daily communications with the team.
• Place supply orders as needed and monitor inventory levels.
• Manage time effectively for self and staff.
