Job summary

Dollar Tree in Stonecrest, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help drive store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards are met.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a commitment to safety. You will work with the Store Manager to train associates, supervise openings and closings, and deliver a positive shopping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and able to read, interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, etc.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged merchandise, and payroll records.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Protect and secure assets, including store cash.
• Ensure safety policies and supervise store associates.
• Maintain cleanliness and restocking.
