Food Lion in Smithfield, NC is seeking an experienced Store Manager to support store operations and help achieve financial and sales goals. You will lead the management team, hire and train associates, and ensure safe, compliant, high-quality shopping experiences for customers.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to drive customer service while managing budgets and assets. Prior department leadership experience is preferred.

Formación

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsabilidades

• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal and disciplinary efforts.
• Provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote a culture reflective of our Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast and easy customer service.
• Ensure proper control of all store funds and company assets.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and ensure compliance with security, safety, and food safety standards.
