Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organization, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect store assets including cash and equipment
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff compliance
• Train and develop Store Associates; supervise when needed
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Ensure store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, and trash are maintained
• Other duties as assigned
