Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking an Operations Manager or Merchandising Manager to oversee store operations and merchandising, delivering strong customer service and driving sales and profitability. You will coach associates to execute processes with efficiency and brand standards, while managing floor replenishment and pricing changes.

You will lead by teaching others, directing omni-channel fulfillment, and ensuring consistent merchandising presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising teams or associates, including coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management.
• Great verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills to make quick decisions.
• Strong people management skills and ability to develop talent.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: Experience in retail management or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and/or merchandising to drive sales and profitability.
• Teach, coach and develop associates to execute operational, service and merchandising processes.
• Ensure sound processes for receiving, stocking and omni-channel fulfillment.
• Direct pricing, signage and ticketing to maintain brand standards and accuracy.
• Lead customer experience initiatives at the point of sale and service desk.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and arrange product presentation for clarity and appeal.
• Support loss prevention efforts and partner with security and store leadership.
• Train new hires and develop staff on processes, inventory and product knowledge.
