Job summary

Wallis Companies is seeking an Assistant Manager to enhance the customer experience and support store leadership. You will supervise staff, ensure SOP adherence, and handle scheduling and payroll accuracy while maintaining safety and quality standards across all shifts.

You will analyze reports to drive sales, margins, and inventory control, and you will step in when the Manager is unavailable, mentoring associates and upholding Wallis Core Values through professional interactions with customers

Qualifications

• 1+ year convenience store experience required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business reports and monitor store performance.
• Lead staff scheduling, assign duties and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Maintain safety practices and compliance with health guidelines.
• Manage store assets, inventory, deposits and cash discrepancies.
• oversee store operations in Manager's absence and ensure customer satisfaction.
