Job summary

Wallis Companies is seeking an Assistant Manager to deliver an exceptional shopping experience, stepping in for the Store Manager when needed and supporting training and development of the team. You will oversee scheduling, ensure payroll accuracy, maintain safety and food service standards, and drive store sales while upholding Wallis Core Values.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of convenience-store experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to reliability

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; higher degrees preferred.
• 1+ year convenience store experience required.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking ability.
• Ability to work irregular schedule, including 50+ hours per week, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and training when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead operations to ensure excellent customer service.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with food service protocols and safety guidelines.
• Manage relationships with customers and vendors to support store performance.
