Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leadership role in Devils Lake, ND. You will lead and develop teams, teach training, and actively listen to associates to improve store operations while driving exceptional customer service.

You will manage budgets, forecast performance, and control expenses to achieve sales and profit goals. A culture of belonging and strong cross-team collaboration are emphasized across all store levels.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Firearms CBC and Firearms Authorized Training where applicable.
• Associates will be required to attend and complete trainings (e.g., Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching training, listening to associates, and providing feedback to improve store operations.
• Model exceptional customer service according to the One Best Way (OBW) service model and support customer service initiatives.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit goals.
• Ensure merchandising, inventory flow, seasonal transitions, and shrink mitigation align with business objectives.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, support plans, and promote a culture of belonging and inclusivity.
