Job summary

Walmart in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Store Supervisor to supervise and develop hourly associates, mentor staff, and lead day-to-day store operations. You will hire, train and recognize employees while promoting a culture of belonging and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, implementing company initiatives, and driving sales while managing budgets and compliance with policies. A strong focus on leadership and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and firearms training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and mentor hourly associates.
• Set clear expectations and recognize performance.
• Lead store operations and drive customer service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures.
• Monitor budgets, merchandising and inventory processes.
