Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead daily operations, including sales, service, inventory, and safety, across a high-volume retail location in Washington. You will partner with the General Manager to manage budgets, staffing, and training, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and adherence to company standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of retail leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to drive profitability while coaching a diverse

Qualifications

• 3-5 years retail management experience
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training associates
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and ensure safe, profitable store performance
• Review profit and loss statements to identify improvement opportunities
• Use POS and inventory systems to maintain accurate stock and cycle counts
• Maintain inventory integrity and supervise cycle count processes
• Assist the General Manager with HR, loss prevention, and budget adherence
• Supervise cash handling and communications with finance
• Coordinate facility safety and security
• Ensure brand and operating standards meet or exceed expectations
• Ensure store presentation and curb appeal meet standards
• Open and/or close the store as needed
• Provide guidance to associates and monitor performance
