Job summary

Floor & Decor seeks a results-driven retail leader to oversee store operations and drive profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will supervise inventory, scheduling, staffing, and adherence to policies, collaborating with the General Manager on HR, loss prevention, and budget management.

The role requires 3-5 years of retail management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a high-volume store in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years retail management experience and proven ability direct operations.
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training associates.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure exceptional customer service and profitability.
• Read and review P&L statements to identify improvement opportunities.
• Utilize POS systems to manage inventory and cycle counts.
• Supervise inventory integrity and cycle count processes.
• Assist the General Manager with HR matters and loss prevention issues.
• Manage cash handling and coordinate with corporate finance.
• Coordinate facility management for safety and security.
• Support budgeting and drive profitability while maintaining brand standards.
• Ensure store presentation and operational standards meet expectations.
