Job summary

Floor & Decor in Temple, Texas is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive profitability through adherence to company guidelines.

You will monitor P&L, supervise inventory and cycle counts, oversee HR tasks, scheduling, cash handling, safety, and budgeting, while ensuring brand standards and compelling store presentation. Develop a skilled team to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail management experience
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location
• Demonstrated initiative and be a self-starter
• Proven recruiting, hiring, and training associates
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations to provide exceptional shopping experiences
• Review and assess profits/Loss to identify areas for improvement
• Utilize POS systems and manage inventory and cycle counts
• Supervise cash handling and communicate with finance department
• Coordinate facility safety and security for customers and employees
• Assist GM with budgeting and controllable expenses to drive profitability
• Ensure brand standards and store presentation align with company
• Open and close the store and manage scheduling of associates
• Train and develop store staff and manage workload
• Monitor associate performance and address disciplinary issues
