Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all store operations, delivering an exceptional shopping experience while ensuring safety and profitability. You will guide sales, service, and associate education, and ensure compliance with COP/SOPs and brand standards.

You will manage inventory, review P&L, budgeting, cashier controls, scheduling, and staff development. The role requires 3-5 years of retail management and strong leadership in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years retail management experience.
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training associates.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess profit and loss statements to identify areas of improvement.
• Utilize computer and point of sale systems to maintain accurate inventory and manage cycle counts.
• Maintain inventory integrity by supervising cycle count and inventory processes.
• Assist the General Manager in handling store level HR or loss prevention issues as necessary.
• Supervise cash handling and coordinate with corporate finance.
• Coordinate facility management to guarantee safety and security of customers and employees.
• Assist the GM in staying within budget and driving profitability.
• Ensure brand and operating standards meet expectations and support consistency.
• Ensure store presentation standards are achieved and maintained.
• Direct/supervise truck appointments and scheduling in logistics.
