Job summary

Walmart is seeking a results-driven leader to oversee store operations in Indianapolis, IN. You will supervise and develop hourly associates, drive sales, manage expenses, and ensure customer service excellence through the OBW model.

You will create action plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and promote a culture of belonging while upholding Walmart values and integrity. Live Better U and other benefits support career growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and mentoring associates.
• Ensure customer service standards and handle customer needs and issues using the OBW service model.
• Manage store financials including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory flow, seasonal transitions, and shrink mitigation.
• Develop associates and promote a culture of belonging in the workplace.
