Job summary

Ace Retail Group in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations and the achievement of company goals and directives. You will lead a team, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold standards across safety, loss prevention, and audits.

Responsibilities include supervising cash handling, inventory, merchandising resets, hiring and training, and joining weekly management meetings.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Previous retail management experience preferred.
• Hardware experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group. Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Store Operations: Ensure a positive, professional and safe work environment for all associates. Open/close the store and implement SOPs.
• Inventory & Merchandising: Maintain back stock, cycle counts, and merchandising standards.
• Hiring & Training of Associates: Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching Head Cashiers and Cashiers.
• Leadership: Manage operations in the General Manager's absence and participate in management meetings.
