Job summary

Alo is seeking an Operations Manager to lead store operations, focusing on inventory management, labor planning, and scheduling to keep the store guest-ready. You’ll work with the General Manager to drive efficiency and strong standards across sales floors and back-of-house areas.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of retail leadership, proficient MS Office skills, and excellent communication. The role involves constant movement, budget awareness, and guiding a team to uphold Alo’s guiding

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) familiarity.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Aligns with ALO’s guiding principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support execution of key operational processes.
• Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the Manager to elevate process or system gaps.
• Champion strong operational standards for the sales floor by leveraging business performance data.
• Support sell-through management by ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and coordinating labor hours to efficiently receive product deliveries.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operation.
• Represent the business in meetings and on conference calls with the General Manager.
• Review, monitor and partner with the General Manager to manage budget, reporting and other business data; including metrics (Expenses, Sell-Thru) and inform planning processes.
• Future planning workflow business needs to protect optimal performance.
• Ensure that the Operations team exudes ALO's mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to guests who we are, what we do and why we do what we do.
• Lead a team through accountability, coaching, development of talent, and heightened communication.
• Establish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategy.
• Write an effective schedule in partnership with the General Manager/Store Manager.
• Oversee Flow experience deliverables while protecting operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support organizational goals and achieve KPI's.
• Demonstrate ability to balance business needs with brand culture.
