Job summary

Zara USA, Inc. in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Head of Store Operations to lead the store’s operational activities and ensure excellent customer service.

You will drive performance through KPI-led management, optimize stock flow, and supervise front-end and omnichannel processes. The role requires dynamic leadership, strong analytical skills to read reports and implement improvements, and adaptability to change in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize store operations based on KPIs to optimize performance.
• Manage warehouse stock and merchandise flows.
• Supervise replenishment and verify locations in the plant.
• Organize and supervise front-end processes: checkout, fitting rooms, size collection, and online pickup.
• Ensure omnichannel processes (SINT, IPOD, STORE MODE, CC) are followed.
• Implement new projects and updates to operations.
• Minimize shrinkage and propose corrective actions.
• Use analytics tools to track KPIs and improve in-store processes.
• Oversee operation of store devices and track technology incidents.
• Oversee store and warehouse staffing and scheduling.
• Collaborate with Commercial and GEOS teams to keep warehouse occupancy up to date.
• Manage external teams through their managers and coordinate with the operations leader.
• Oversee the operations team budget and prepare staff schedules.
• Continuously train and develop the operations team.
• Identify and propose new profiles for the team; give constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
