Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, ensuring company standards and profitability while maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. You will recruit, train and develop a leadership team, manage stockroom, front-end and sales floor activities, and drive cost controls to meet budgets.

The role requires at least five years of retail store management, strong customer service, and the ability to train and motivate associates at all levels.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches while working.
• Analyzes Store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall Store performance.
• Addresses any variance to Company standards with appropriate action plan, partnering with the District Manager as needed.
• Ensures proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives.
• Responsible for payroll administration including daily punch edits, Associate scheduling compliance, Sunday payroll transmission, and Payroll reporting as needed.
