Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record or completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program or High School Diploma/GED with two years supervisory experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of ESM start date.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, resolving complaints and promoting service excellence.
• Coaches and trains staff; develops plans to improve front-end and pharmacy service.
• Supervises store operations, assigns tasks, schedules shifts, and ensures coverage.
• Collaborates with partners to support external services and community outreach.
• Analyzes financial and performance data; drives store improvements and growth.
• Leads team development, performance plans, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensures compliance with policies, laws, and safety; maintains store assets.
• Ensures staff know computer and tech systems; supports security operations center.
• Supports training and development by completing required programs and maintaining an Individual Development Plan.
