Job summary

Safeway in Hawaii seeks a Third Person in Charge to oversee store operations when the Store Director and ASD are unavailable. You will supervise staff, train new hires, coordinate hiring, and assist with merchandising to maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of retail experience recommended; grocery experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, supervisory and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Unsupervised store operations during the absence of the Store Director and ASD.
• Supervise staff and handle customer complaints; ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Train new employees and coordinate hiring/interviewing processes.
• Assist with merchandising, pricing, stocking and display planning.
