Job summary

2nd Swing is seeking a Store Operations Manager to keep day-to-day store operations smooth and aligned with customer-first standards. You will lead teams supporting inventory, shipping, repairs, and customer service while partnering with the General Manager to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or management experience in retail or a customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Experience coaching, developing, and holding team members accountable to performance expectations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to delegate effectively while maintaining a hands-on approach to operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues professionally and effectively.
• Experience with inventory, operational metrics, and established processes.
• Golf industry or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to set daily, weekly, and monthly goals and meet business needs.
• Communicate priorities clearly to team members and follow up to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Oversee key inventory metrics and ensure inventory processes are followed consistently.
• Execute and maintain merchandise planograms and store presentation standards.
• Coach, manage, and develop customer service, shipping, inventory, and repair team members.
• Delegate effectively while remaining hands-on with operations.
• Partner with management to resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.
• Support Sales and Fitting teams while upholding 2nd Swing’s Core Values.
• Monitor processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the customer experience.
• Maintain attention to detail across inventory, merchandising, shipping, repairs, and service operations.
• Ensure deadlines and performance goals are met.
• Create a positive, high-energy store environment where employees learn and succeed.
• Step in wherever needed to support the team day to day.
