Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Wisconsin store team. This role focuses on store operations, customer service, and developing the store team to meet sales and service goals.

You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support opening/closing procedures. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and maintaining clean, organized environments to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in retail or store management preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Demonstrated customer service and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and data requests related to store activities
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures for effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping (scheduling, payroll, deposits) and loss prevention
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash, and follow safety guidelines
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
