Job summary

Five Below in Temecula, CA is seeking a responsive store leader to WOW customers and train crew on the BEST service standards. You will oversee daily store operations, manage associates, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The role requires at least a High School diploma with 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Starting pay is $17.40 per hour with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, responsible for store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash security, lockup, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses via merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance (trash, cleaning, stockroom).
