Job summary

Dollar Tree in Palmyra, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, and develop the team.

You will assist with merchandise, staffing, opening/closing, and ensure store standards, safety, and loss prevention while maintaining a positive, fast-paced environment. This role requires a high school diploma and prior retail management experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Enforce store policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist the Store Manager in training and developing associates.
• Ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
