Job summary

CNRG, Inc. seeks a Team Leader to helm store activities in the absence of salaried management in Moorhead, MN. This role requires leadership, customer service excellence, and a strong grasp of merchandising, safety, and operations to drive budgeted goals.

The Team Leader will train new associates, manage inventory and displays, and ensure adherence to CNRG’s Mission and Values. Flexibility for weekends/evenings is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and problem-solving skills demonstrated in a store setting.
• Ability to manage with limited supervision and guide teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication with customers and vendors.
• Team-oriented attitude with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret data and apply it to merchandising and operations.
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other associates as assigned and maintain enthusiasm.
• Provide solutions to customer questions and train new staff in product knowledge.
• Coordinate merchandise orders to meet sales trends and demand.
• Complete cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain store appearance and stock areas; create displays to boost sales.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve budgeted goals.
• Clean store and exterior areas; identify and address safety hazards.
• Perform price checks and price changes in a timely manner.
• Maintain certifications in all required areas (forklifts, DOT, gate, receiving, service desk).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
