Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Team-oriented, energetic environment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor cleanliness and organization.
• Protect store assets and cash; adhere to safety and company policies.
• Assist Store Manager to supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
