Job summary

Golf Galaxy is seeking a passionate, people-first store leader to oversee store operations in their area. The Assistant Store Manager will drive brand and operational excellence, delivering engaging customer service and coaching teammates across Front End, Freight, and Operations in a data-driven environment.

The role emphasizes accountability for cash handling, safety, and LP audits, with responsibilities spanning hiring, training, and performance management to maintain a high-performing team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and drive customer service excellence.
• Directly manage Front End, Freight and Operations teammates and coordinate with other areas as Head Coach.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, safety, LP audits, and operational standards.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, discipline, and performance management for store staff.
• Drive the customer experience at the Front End and monitor payroll to align with budget.
