Job summary

BFS Foods, Inc. in Morgantown, WV is seeking an Assistant Manager to collaborate with the General Manager in supervising store operations, food service, scheduling, ordering, inventory, sanitation, and policy compliance.

You will lead a team, ensure fast and friendly guest service, manage labor, training, merchandising, and cost controls while maintaining quality standards and store safety. Flexibility for shifts, willingness to assume responsibility, and ability to work with computer systems

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a store or food service environment.
• Ability to recruit, train and evaluate employees.
• Proficient in managing schedules and labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly customer service and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate store employees; foster positive culture.
• Develop and manage store schedules to optimize labor & efficiency.
• Assist with product ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
• Maintain merchandising standards, signage and promotion execution.
• Oversee sanitation, food safety and compliance with standards.
• Support accounting tasks such as cash handling and deposits.
