Job summary

BFS Foods, Inc. in Morgantown, WV seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations alongside the General Manager. You will oversee program execution, inventory control, food service, scheduling, ordering, receiving and sign-off on quality and sanitation standards.

This role requires strong customer service, team leadership, and the ability to work across shifts, including weekends. You will mentor staff, ensure compliance with safety policies, and help drive efficiency and guest

Qualifications

• Experience in foodservice operations and guest service.
• Ability to lead a team and coach staff.
• Strong scheduling and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations alongside General Manager.
• Oversee inventory control, ordering, receiving, and product rotation.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and quality standards across shifts.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and resolve issues.
• Schedule staff, assign duties, and monitor labor costs.
• Maintain merchandising, signage, and store appearance.
• Prepare reports and support cash handling and banking tasks.
