Job summary

BFS Foods is seeking a General Manager to oversee all store operations in Morgantown, WV, in collaboration with the District Manager. You will direct foodservice, inventory, scheduling, and staff development to maximize efficiency and quality.

You will lead by example, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and effective team leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience managing store operations and staff.
• Experience implementing programs and foodservice safety procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage scheduling, ordering, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality, fast, friendly service to customers.
• Recruit, train, and develop store employees and coaches.
• Schedule and coordinate shifts to meet labor and service needs.
• Oversee ordering/receiving, build-to levels, and ensure product quality.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, and signage to attract customers.
• Monitor inventory and cost controls; perform weekly/monthly inventories.
• Lead roll-outs of promotions and new products; communicate changes to staff.
• Ensure sanitation standards and safe food handling; supervise cleaning schedules.
• Prepare invoices, perform cash handling checks, and oversee store accounting tasks.
