Job summary

FiveStar is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including customer service, merchandising, inventory, and staff supervision. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and adherence to company policies.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of retail management experience, a valid driver’s license, and a professional, reliable attitude. This on-site position requires flexibility across shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years retail management experience or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Team player with excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations alongside the General Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service and help train the store team.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory levels, pricing signage and promotions.
• Ensure adherence to labor budgets, safety guidelines and proper paperwork.
• Learn and understand P&L statements and assist in reporting.
• Cover store operations in the General Manager’s absence.
