Job summary

Millbrook Markets is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily store operations in the GM's absence and assist in all facets of running the store. The AGM reviews profitability, plans improvements, and helps develop Customer Service Associates through training programs.

Key responsibilities include labor scheduling, goods ordering, and overseeing safety processes to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The AGM may assist the GM with fuel store operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Leadership experience is required; experience in food service environment preferred.
• Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work 35-40 hours per week.
• Experience selecting, training, and scheduling staff; managing expenses.
• Serve Safe Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Review business results and plan for improvements.
• Assist with training and development of Customer Service Associates.
• Manage the scheduling of labor and ordering of goods.
• Oversee store safety processes and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Support GM with fuel store operations where applicable.
• Respond to customer complaints or inquiries and resolve issues.
• Plan and prepare work schedules and delegate tasks to associates.
• Analyze store performance and implement action plans to drive profits.
