Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the general manager in daily store operations in Worcester, MA. You will supervise hourly staff, handle cash controls, and ensure compliance with store standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variances.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties per policies.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards.
• Maintains high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store is secure and safe; report issues to management.
• Engage in promotional initiatives and guest service.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures.
