Job summary

Global Partners LP in Maine seeks an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to assist the general manager with daily operations, uphold policies, and maintain store standards. You will supervise hourly staff, manage cash handling and inventory, and assist with banking, payroll, and admin duties.

You will engage in guest service initiatives, participate in promotions, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance. The pay range is $19.05–$22.26 per hour with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties.
• Manage cash handling procedures including deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store is secure and safe; report safety/environment issues.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and participate in promotional initiatives.
• Promote a high level of guest service and adhere to company policies.
