Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Las Vegas, NV to support store operations, customer service and team development. The role covers opening/closing duties, merchandise handling, payroll and cash deposits, and enforcing company policies.

The position emphasizes a positive customer experience, strong communication, and collaboration with the Store Manager to train and develop associates in a high-energy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties in a store setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise and transfer from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked selling areas and organized stockrooms.
• Protect assets including cash and adhere to safety policies.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
