Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to support daily store operations, assist customers, maintain merchandise, and help with opening and closing tasks. You will collaborate with team members to keep shelves stocked, clean, and presentable.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a readiness to follow directives, protect assets, and deliver friendly service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and related communications
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure store assets including cash
• Adhere to policies, procedures and safety guidelines
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentable areas
• Other duties as assigned
