Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our team in Henderson, NV.

You will work with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team of associates and drive merchandising strategies, while ensuring daily store operations run smoothly. Responsibilities include processing freight, stocking merchandise, maintaining store areas, executing policies, and delivering a safe, positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and information requests.
• Keep store areas clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Process the receipt and return of DSD merchandise and manage freight flow.
• Order and stock merchandise needs (including frozen & refrigerated items).
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective and merchandise items properly.
• Plan and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales items.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
