Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching and appraisals.
• Provide leadership to promote a store culture aligned with guiding principles and values.
• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, easy service.
• Control store funds and assets responsibly.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety and food safety standards.
• Utilize company tools like ACIS, CAO, scheduling, and reporting systems.
• Support achievement of store budgeted financial and operating results.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when Store Manager is absent.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the entire store.
• Model strong customer service and instill it in associates.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and standard practices.
• Develop associates to meet business needs.
