Job summary

Jimmy John's Sandwiches is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily store operations and overseeing back-of-house paperwork. You will lead by example, maintain high standards of integrity, and train new staff while ensuring smooth service during peak hours.

The role requires at least 35 hours weekly, 18+ years old, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
• Ability to key close (or key open based on the store's individual needs)

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-store operations with General Manager
• Lead by example and ensure systems and procedures are followed with integrity
• Assist with back-of-house paperwork and weekly inventory audits
• Communicate needs of the store to the GM
• Manage busy rush periods and training new employees
