Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee all restaurant functions in the absence of the General Manager. You will ensure fast, accurate sandwiches and world‑class customer service while maintaining a clean, organized shift environment.

Responsibilities include staff training, ordering and inventory control, and supervising food preparation and service during peak periods. You will manage cash, assist with deliveries, and uphold 100% integrity in procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stamina to work 50-60 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage all restaurant functions to ensure customer service and product quality.
• Supervise and train staff; oversee scheduling and performance.
• Oversee ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of supplies to minimize waste.
• Assist in supervision of food preparation, sales, and service.
• Greet customers, take orders, ring up sales, assemble orders, ensure accuracy.
• Route deliveries and assist drivers to maximize speed and efficiency.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and daily paperwork.
• Maintain cash drawer integrity and conduct routine audits.
