Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, supervise the team, and develop actionable plans to improve performance. You will help manage schedules, ensure product quality and signage, and uphold company policies and cash/inventory controls.

The role is full-time with 38 hours per week, starting at $26.50 per hour and increasing to $27.50 in Year 2, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
• Prior management experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Supervise day-to-day store activities and manage schedules
• Identify training opportunities for team development
• Ensure store cleanliness, product freshness, and signage accuracy
• Handle cash control policies and inventory procedures
• Participate in interviewing store personnel
