Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lake Placid, FL to assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will oversee day-to-day activities, help train associates, and ensure merchandise is well-organized and displays are maintained.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, following corporate directives, loss prevention, and maintaining a safe, friendly store environment while delivering strong service to customers.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixture and display effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits).
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
• Ensure cleanliness of store, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
