Dollar Tree in Lake City, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with daily store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves merchandising, opening/closing tasks, and enforcing policies to ensure a secure, welcoming shopping environment.

The position requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a high school diploma preferred and prior retail management experience advantageous.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem‑solving skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store front fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged items, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized, protect assets, and ensure policies are followed.
• Support the Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
