Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
• Prior management experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports
• Models company values to foster teamwork among employees
• Monitors competitive environment and informs leadership of necessary adjustments
• Provides product feedback and assists in interviewing store personnel
• Ensures adherence to inventory procedures, product handling and cash control policies
• Assists in maintaining stock levels and merchandising to maximize sales
• Oversees day-to-day operations and escalates issues when needed
• Ensures customer service standards and timely completion of responsibilities
