Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking Break Time Assistant Managers to support daily operations at Break Time Convenience Store locations in Missouri. You will coach team members, manage operations in the Store Manager’s absence, and help control expenses while delivering fast, friendly service to every customer.

Responsibilities include inventory, banking, promotions, shift supervision, and ensuring food service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with transportation to bank.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well individually and in leading a team.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and run reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and operate store technology.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Assist in day-to-day store operations including daily reporting, banking, inventory, and upkeep.
• Support merchandising, promotions, and inventory control.
• Supervise shifts in the absence of the manager and promote food service and safety.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, staff, and management.
• Understand store finances and help control expenses and losses; participate in audits.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and developing store associates.
• Operate POS systems and other store technology for transactions and reports.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with regulations.
