Job summary

Daiso USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the store manager in daily operations and NoHo West store activities. You will help manage staff shifts, labor hours, product ordering, inventory control, and ensure compliance with store policies and regulations while reporting issues to leadership.

You will recruit and train staff, supervise, organize sales plans, merchandising, replenishment, and maintain cash handling accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of work experience.
• Experience as a sales associate preferred.
• Inventory oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve customer service quality and maintain store cleanliness.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff; coach and counsel team members.
• Manage staff scheduling, labor hours, and shift coverage; enforce policies.
• Order products appropriately and ensure shelves are stocked; control loss and inventory.
• Plan and execute sales strategies; organize merchandise and replenishment.
• Monitor sales goals, basket size, and inventory turns; manage cash handling and safe: cash management.
• Organize forms, documents, manuals, files and records; maintain equipment and fixtures.
