Job summary

FiveStar is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including customer service, accounting, marketing, human resources, and food service. You will help manage the store team, train staff, merchandise, and maintain inventory levels to meet company standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail management experience or equivalent education, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years of retail management experience or equivalent education.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude. Requisite basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations and partner with General Manager.
• Provide customers with service per company policies and procedures.
• Train store team and educate staff on policies and communications.
• Assist in addressing store issues for long-term problem resolution.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory levels, pricing, and promotional signage.
• Promote FiveStar service standards and ensure customer needs are met.
• Assist in overseeing food operation, food quality, signage, and promotions.
• Assist in ensuring inventory control, equipment condition, staffing within labor budget, and safety guidelines.
• Responsible for store operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Learn and understand P&L statements.
