Job summary

Lids in Indianapolis seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead sales, champion guest experiences, and coach a team to achieve store goals. You will drive sales, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards while supporting daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

As the leader on duty when needed, you will manage scheduling, training, and performance, maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere and ensuring compliance with policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling and customer issues in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Lead store associates through LIDS training programs and set goals for sales and tasks.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings when leadership is unavailable.
• Cultivate a respectful, inclusive team environment and comply with company dress code and policies.
• Schedule and staff the store, managing peak periods and unexpected absences.
