Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking an experienced retail operations leader in San Antonio to oversee a full-service MVN store. You will manage operations and customer service, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment with strong product knowledge for every guest.

The role requires 2+ years in retail operations, 1+ year in supervision, and solid HR and sales fundamentals. You will train staff, monitor performance, meet sales goals, safeguard assets, and maintain merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Retail operations experience required (min 2 years).
• Experience in supervisory or lead role (min 1 year).
• Experience in retail, nursery, landscaping, or related environment preferred.
• Strong HR and sales fundamentals understanding.
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a full-service MVN retail store operations.
• Lead assigned Operations or Customer Service duties.
• Ensure outstanding customer service in a safe, clean, friendly environment.
• Maintain store standards, product knowledge, and visual merchandising.
• Control costs, payroll, and loss prevention.
• Train store management and staff; conduct meetings and audits.
• Support POS transactions and order/product installation/delivery.
