Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail operations.
• At least 1 year in supervisory or lead role.
• Experience in retail, nursery, landscaping, or related environment preferred.
• Solid management skills with a basic HR and sales understanding.
• Knowledge of sales and operations planning, demand forecasting and marketing.
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed and motivated with entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Ability to resolve concerns and conflicts effectively.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a full-service MVN retail nursery operation.
• Own assigned Operations or Customer Service duties.
• Ensure outstanding service with a safe, clean environment and knowledgeable staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies through meetings, audits and walks.
• Train and develop store management and staff.
• Control loss, shrinkage, waste, payroll and turnover.
• Maintain stock levels, merchandising and signage across the nursery.
• Review trends and implement changes to reach goals.
• Meet sales goals through training, mentoring and feedback.
• Oversee sales transactions, counter and phone sales, and deliveries.
• Protect store assets and manage inventory and equipment.
• Oversee administrative functions including POS and warranties.
